Sometimes improvements go beyond merely adding a side extension. This project is a good example of how the existing home, although perfectly functioning did not sit well architecturally with the setting of the village and perhaps a little lacking in character. By working with the client permission was granted to extend and alter the building to fit within the Area of Outstanding Beauty in which it stands.
